BasedApp Card Top-Ups Made Easy with Bank Transfers

Looking for a convenient way to top up your BasedApp card with XSGD? We've got great news! BasedApp now accepts card top-ups through bank transfers!

How does it work?

You can transfer SGD from your bank account, and in return, you will receive XSGD in your BasedApp card, maintaining a 1:1 exchange rate (1 SGD = 1 XSGD). For example, if you transfer 500 SGD, you will receive 500 XSGD on your card.

Bank transfers provide users with a convenient alternative to the existing methods of card top-ups on BasedApp, such as minting XSGD on StraitsX or transferring funds from wallets and exchanges.

Note that your bank has to support FAST transfers.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to your BasedApp account and select the card icon at the bottom of screen.

  2. Then select “Deposit”.

  1. Select the “bank transfer” tab. For first time users, please click on the set up button, we will generate a unique "bank account address" for you.

  2. Make the bank transfer to your unique bank account number indicated. That’s it!

  1. You should receive an email upon your bank deposit and see your XSGD balance updated on the card within minutes.

IMPORTANT:

Only transfer funds from your a bank account that is held in your name. Any funds deposited from bank account not in your name will be rejected. Refund may take days to complete.
